LOGAN CIRCLE—Commissary, the casual American stalwart situated in a living room-like quarters off P Street NW, will close for good after service on Sunday, July 28.
The all-day breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner place, formerly part of EatWell DC’s local restaurant group, offered a little of something for everyone: sandwiches, wedge salads, hearty pizzas, pasta dishes, and a kids’ menu. Commissary woke up at 8 a.m. daily, attracting remote workers with complimentary Wi-Fi, indoor and outdoor tables, comfortable couches, and station-style desks.
