Fans are going wild after spotting an unusual detail on Taylor Swift as she stepped on stage to accept one of her seven trophies at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The 34-year-old pop star, who’s been breaking records with her stratospheric rise to fame, appeared at the awards show on September 11 in a sparkling silver mini dress that was out of this world.

In her acceptance speech for her third consecutive award for video of the year, she thanked her boyfriend Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who was not at the event.
“When I’d finish a take, and I’d say cut, and we’d be done with that take, I’d always just hear someone like cheering and like ‘whoo’ from across the studio,” she shares. “And that one person was my boyfriend, Travis. Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic.”

The real scene-stealer came when she stepped on stage with a sparkling silver mini by Monse. Playful but glamorous, the asymmetrical mini was made with cargo utility straps and the body was embellished with intricate detailing that designed a UFO print showing an alien invasion of the countryside.
Swift’s outfit was tailor made but on the Monse website, a similar dress that’s “inspired by the iconic sci-fi films of the 1950s” is available for $990 with an estimated shipping date of January 2025.
