A local American-style restaurant in Gettysburg recently announced that they have closed their doors.
Food 101, which is located at 101 Chambersburg Street in Gettysburg, is a local eatery that has been offering scratch-made cuisines since 2015.
Earlier today on August 30, Food 101 shared on Facebook that they have officially closed their doors. The restaurant’s Facebook bio now reads “Food 101 is permanently closed.”

“Dear Loyal Food 101 Customers: It is with heavy heart that we inform you we have closed our doors for the foreseeable future,” Food 101 said on Facebook. “It has been a pleasure serving the Gettysburg community and we will miss you!”
“Thank you for all of your support over the years, we are so grateful to have been able to serve you.”
Earlier this month, on August 15 the restaurant shared that they were looking to fill several positions such as a full-time or part-time server, a full-time prep/line cook, and a part-time dishwasher.
According to their website, this BYOB establishment is most known for offering a variety of artisan pizzas, sandwiches, salads, entrees, and more.abc27 news tried calling Food 101 but was unable to reach anyone for more information.
