Sandra was last seen in public on July 12 in Beverly Hills, smiling for photographers. She celebrated her 60th birthday shortly after, on July 26. Her acting hiatus began in March 2022, when she announced she was stepping away from Hollywood for a while.
With a film career spanning more than 50 titles—including hits like Miss Congeniality and The Blind Side—Sandra is now set to reunite with Nicole Kidman for Practical Magic 2, the sequel to the beloved original.
According to someone close to her, Sandra is “truly excited” about the movie and looks forward to working with Nicole again.
